Atopic dermatitis refers to the skin that is exposed to allergen
and other factors such as skin’s abnormal protection. Symptoms
manifest themselves in puppies around 1-3 years. An itching is
found on faces, ears and abdominals. Atopic dermatitis in dogs
can be found in parallel to skin infection caused by bacteria
and skin inflammation caused by the Malassezia yeast. Selected
breeds are highly exposed to this disease.
